Climate change negotiations

Following the first week of negotiations, Britain has pledged 1.5 billion UK pounds to combat climate change.  UK Ministers are in Copenhagen to secure an ambitious, effective and fair agreement.  Follow progress.

Visit by UK Minister for International development

The Rt. Hon. Gareth Thomas MP, Minister of State for International Development was in New York 7-9 December 2009. During his visit the Minister delivered the UK's speech at the High Level conference on the UN's Central Emergency Response Fund and a further speech on UN Development Reform
